Swash Boulder

This boulder opal from Queensland, Australia is essentially the way it came out of the ground. The miner merely shaped and polished it. As you move, you’ll see glints and flashes of opal colors on the edge of the stone, confirming that it still “sits” in its original ironstone matrix. This opal shows its beauty in rainbow colors -- including the most sought-after red.
