Tourmaline Inside

Inside this large, faceted rock-crystal quartz, you can see needles of black tourmaline or "shorl". The needles are clean and individual. More important, they don't poke through the main facet (the table facet)of the stone. Its polish is excellent. Its sterling silver wrapping adds to the black-and-white or black-and-clear effect of this piece. It will also pick up hints of whatever color you are wearing.
